NO EMPLOYMENT PROTECTION IN COLORADO

There is no employment protection for Marijuana users in Colorado, according to a State Appeals Court. Even though recreational and medical marijuana use is now legal in the state, employees who test positive for off duty marijuana use can be fired from their jobs.
